MCM Motorsports Camera Mount
4 Attachment(s)
Well, in planning for next weeks trip to The Rock, I borrowed a video camera from a friend and have started making a new camera mount. Square Aluminum is perfect and the mount is secure, I just have some finishing touches to do since the camera still wobbles a bit. I am thinking a ratcheting strap should do the trick.

that camera is ancient
but thats a neat idea on mounting it |
Nice work, looks GREAT! Just one question, doesn't it point right at the rear view mirror?

Nice idea. Two questions.. #1. Will SCCA allow that "rig" behind you like that? I'm sure they would tell me "No F'ing way". I once had to remove a chain ( thin rope one my daughter made me in school)around my rear mirror to race. #2 If it's ok, do you have any rubber bushings under the camera? For vibration and all.

Cool. I haven't been to track in so long, I miss it like hell! I'm living through your videos...so get some more soon. I some how thought you were doing SCCA street 1 class.
