Its a Super Stallion Hood, got it off ebay for $125.00, but you get what you pay for, I spent many many hours straightening that hood and it still needs some work on the underside

boss inc have a black get coat. They are imo the best hoods out absolutly no waves. reinforced areas so hood pins are not needed.

Id watch out on that hood. You might need to prime and block sand a few times or its gonna wave like a stadium of people.

I can handle it, Im a collision repair technician.......lol , but for the average joe I wouldn't recommend buying a hood where lots of body work is needed, cause if you brought this hood in to me the way it looked when I got it, needless to say I would suggest you also bring your wallet cause it would cost you big time, I probably put 8 hours or more into it getting it straight, plus it still needs putty underneath and another good layer of primer and blocking, but hard work always pays off

What do you mean by wave? Like the hood will flex and then stay like that?

Thats what i like to here killa. Seems to me you know your **** and the hood follows the body real weel. I know how that goes trying to get a hood to line up. My hood was horrible. I'm waiting on boss inc to finish their 94-98 cobra r hood so i can hurry up and buy one.

I mean by wave you will look at the hood and it will literally wave kind of in the paint job. The actual hood will be alright. Just when you look at certain angles of the paint it will be kind of distorted. Most fiberglass products tend to wave.

Very interesting, I never knew this...Does this tend to happen with CF products that you know of or just fiberglass? I'm gonna go with the Cobra R hood that is CF that Lance has on his car i believe!

Sorry, not to steal the thread!

If you are going with that hood, you have nothing to worry about.
