2007 California Special

The chin spoiler / front end looks different and the C scoops are added on along with the hood scoop. Looks like the rocker panel treatment might be different too. Not sure it's worht the 2K extra over a GT convertible.. Some different wheels and a performance mod or two would be intriguing

I'm not a fan of the GT/CS but this little hertz deal makes me want to sell everything I own and run and get one.. FRPP power pack 1; hood pins; FR500C springs/shocks; strut tower brace and 3:55s.. yeah baby

I went with my boss to a few ford dealerships today because he's trying to find his 16 year old daughter a 99-04 v6 stang.....anyway, I spent a lot of time looking at the 06 GT's and I still can't get into them.....They just look freaking big to me and I'm not digging the big, heavy car trend that domestics are moving towards. I guess that's how it used to be in the "muscle car era". Big and heavy with a lot of HP!
I read in Motor Trend the 07/08 Cobra is going to weigh like
3,900lbs.....Yeah, it has enough HP to deal with the weight, but you'd think the trend would be to shave weight off the cars.

Eh, the extra 2k gets you what you see, plus the fact it is a limited edition, and may retain value better than a regular gt vert.
Mustangs have had more special editions than any other car in the planet.
most of them were nothing more than a special paint job, or graphics. hell, look at the mach 1 twisters with the tornado painted on the rear quarter panel. Dont forget the Limited edition playboy pink mustangs. ROFL!!!
LOL. I'd totally get one. i think it looks slick. Its cool they are bringing out all these special eds. they have a great product and are having fun with it.

all that weight makes for a VERY stiff chassis that handles very well
