to be honest I'm very skeptical of hitting 300rwhp.. I think the gears have taken too much hp to keep me from 300 on the dyno. We'll have to see though. April 8th is the day I'm going to get dyno tuned so we'll find out 1 week from this Saturday.

btw.. from what I've heard in normal driving conditions I'm not suppose to notice a HUGE drop in gas mileage. But if I get on it the gas needle will probably fall faster than the tach rises lol

negative on "the tool" lol. we got this really sweet *** valve spring compressor tool from snap on that makes it a little bit easier. And i think the only way I'll see 300rwhp is if the tuning just turns out amazing lol. I'll be happy with 290-295 because I know I really have more.. damn gears

I dunno if just cams will make that much power... How much are they supposed to make on the stock heads? Would that cam be good for nitrous?

people with the Stage 1's and stock heads w/ all the same mods as me have seen 290-292 rwhp, the stage 2's aren't suppose to make a whole lot more power than the stage 1's from what I've heard. I dunno how good it would be with Nitrous.. I know they are TERRIBLE for boost because they have such a low LSA (108). Tons of boost goes right out the exhaust never being used

I've also seen people claiming gains of 40rwhp @ 5500 rpms with the Stage 2's and dropping 4 tenths off their 1/4 mile times But I've also heard there's about 5 rwhp between 1's and 2's.

ur gonna hit 300hp but the Dyno may read lower cause of the gears....its all cause of the wheels are spining faster....so if u get like 297 assume that u got 300....it will still be a great car..hehe

.......lucky...............

These are the N/A Stage 2's!! First set of the year The guys at VT really hooked me up. Last I heard they had sent out the other 5 backorders they had on yesterday and still had 5 of the Stage 2's in stock. The Stage 1's and Stage 2 blower cams are the ones they're trying to get done by the end of the week.

Nope.. my last tune was done at DynoSpeed Racing in Memphis and I was very impressed and happy with those guys and that's where I'm going again. If you haven't heard of them just check out December's or May's issue of 5.0 magazine.. that TT cobra was built/tuned by them and the guy who owns it works there I believe. They're really good at what they do, they were also at the NMRA with their very fast vert cobra and some of the other cobras they have (and a Lightning too I believe). I have heard a ton of good things about Speedys also though.
