Default Black Pony emblem's gone...I like this MUCH better!!!

The plan was to leave the painted black pony on for awhile and see if it grew on me, but I was bored and had an extra 40th Anniversary emblem (thanks Foncarelli!), sooooooooooo.......

I think I'll stick with this one!!!

Just "modified" the bracket with the black pony and stuch the 40th emblem on it. The decal on the front bumper is my Yellow Mustang Registry number.

I ordered them from http://www.vinzdecals.com/create1.html.

This page shows the style and size that the original YMR decals were in... http://www.mustang-sally.net/YMR/ymr...to%20order.htm

I got to admit... it does look pretty good. If you get a chance .... take another front shot from about 10 feet.

wow that DOES look really good. To be honest I liked when I had my pony and emblem completely gone, i think it made the front look meaner, but everyone else didn't like it... oh well... looks good though, and you know no one else has it.

Thanks! I thought about just leaving everything out while I was changing it, but it NEEDS something in the front...not sure how to explain that, it just does. I think it's different and I haven't seen anyone else put that emblem up front, so I'm happy with it.

Col. Harencak is still the Wing King, but we just got an "Outstanding" on our Phase II ORI, so he might end up getting promoted out of here. That's usually the way it works.

WOW man, that **** looks factory! Like it was stock on the 40th Aniv GT or something, lol
I was wondering what a Running pony/tri-color bars would look like up front ,and if anyone could pull of an 'offset' grill emblem... like the 07 GT500...

Thanks! I've seen a pic of the tri-bar/pony up front in the grille, but I can't find it now. I'm sure you could offset an emblem if you really wanted too...just takes a little creative engineering.

The black one suffered some er, um...damage during the removal of the bracket. Whoops.

I think what makes that look so good on the front, is in the center of that emblem there is still a pony, so in a way, you still have that factory pony on the front grill
