Was taking a few pics and decided to snap a few at night of the HIDs.

LoL didn't we ask the other person who had HID's to post some like that also? LoL oh well, I've seen one set of them but it was only one picture and not facing down the road... IF i got HID's i'd go through a friend who sells them and get the discount...

I gotta ask my friend, i think he was sellin everything for 200 last I heard, i'll ask next time I hear from him... i don't even know if he still sells them...

They dont unless they hit a bump and the projector cutoff is aimed at your face. They are designed to not have any light be above a certain point which is well below your point of vision.

OK sept when they'e behind you and you ARE in their direct bath...it's like jesus' shinning through the window..wtf! I'm just sayin HID's are guna blind you no matter what...

Like Matt says...If you go with HID's please buy HID projectors as well, or else your glare is gonna blind everyone lol.

I have a nice cutoff line with mine and I haven't had anybody flash their brights at me, or complain.

Although when you're on a hilly road and behind someone, then you occasionally blind the **** out of them

Yeah it does seem that almost every SUV has HIDS that blind you, i've only had one person in the 4 months i've had the HIDs flash their high beams at me so i'm not worrying about any adjusting at all. And i bought mine off of Ebay in December for $225.

looks good now i just gotta aim mine i was going down the road and i thought they were aimed but i could'nt see 10 feet in front of me :wallbash:

I heard they don't do make HID bulbs that fit the projectors for the 99-04 models, thats just what I heard...idk if thats true or not...

100% true. There is none that fit.

Stangmods.com has taken those projectors and have included installation instruction of how you can install HID's. They come with both the HID's and the Projectors, but you have to retrofit them itself.

You can retrofit your current reflective housing, but from what I've seen you have to pretty much custom do it yourself.

If I find a projector retrofit system I can use in my clear corners for HIDs, than I would look into it.

Part of the fault that larger trucks/SUV's blind us is not so much their HID's.

It's actually us being lowered and being damn low to the ground.

I've been waiting for the Smoked Headlights w/ clear corners to be in stock before I order some HID's. Are you guys saying this will be a bad setup?

No it looks great, thats exactly what i have and it looks real nice. Some people just say that the HIDs blind people unless they are focused or have a cutoff, mine arent and ive never had any complaints from anyone coming my way.
