I think a stock 350z looks better than the one in that pics. It's too much for my taste.

i think the manuals have 299, autos have like 289

 

280 for trhe base and the performance edition near 298 at the flywheel but are low in the torque range 270 roughly a mildly modded 99-04 GT could have a chance with a good start and good driver.

Fact is your car doesnt have the numbers to even compare.......

Not enough ...add maybe 15 hp to what you had....To be honest you would have gotten more out of a PI head swap than the exhaust

By adding the wide body kit he just added weight as well so he is slower than a stock G35. My cousin has one and Im not to impressed by it.

With just intake and exhaust, I raced one on school campus on a roll from about 10 to 50 and it was neck and neck the entire time. It was a girl and i think its was an auto so a good stick driver could likely beat me.

 

Settle down spanky. The pic shows a heavy 350z and the topic of this discussion is about the G35. Like I said I have driven a G35 and if you have gears you will have a chance but that 350z in the pic is just a cow. Curb weight of G35 3350–3500 lb.

 

i would imagine that with a 98 you'd loose. as stated, your heads are holding you back!

as for the 350z, i would prefer the stock body. there is someone driving around here with a red one that has that same hood in CF and the same wing, the hood is cool, but i'm not a fan of the wing.

if it was an older g35 sedan. like a 2003 the horsepower is only at 235 and they are not that fast. i bet them in my 95 gt with CAI, flows, and roller rockers. so check what year the car is.
