Default head gaskets

Randy, are the head gaskets for the 03/04 cobra different from a 99-00 GT? Interchangeable?

yes they are different and I've had one person have a bad experience using them on Windsor heads, so I'll say NO on the interchangeability issue

Is there a reason why the FRPP Head changing kit is half the price of a pair of head gaskets alone? Same gaskets?

there are alot of reason it's cheaper and for the longest time the frpp kit contain and older style head gasket.... reason the kit is cheaper, is it's 1 less packagers & 1 less warehouse togo thru and no warranty on the parts....

But it contains the same head gaskets that you had sent me last week now, right?

We put the heads on last week and had to pull them off again on monday. Would rather buy the FRPP kit if it's the same gaskets and just sell the head bolts.

if the Frpp kits now contain the 4C2Z-6051-AA & BA head gaskets, then the answer is "yes" but I have no idea what there packaging now

$88.00 a set from FoMoCo
so buying the Frpp head changing kit might just be worth the $100.00
