Default hey Randy

wanted to get a price for the serp belt tensioner pulley. I'm not sure if the part is available separate from the entire tensioner assy.

mine's chirping/squeaking pretty bad.

Thanks,

-Dave

Randy will let you know, but they are about $60 if I recall. Are you sure it is the tensioner? I have a squeaky pulley and it is on my alternator. If I spray WD-40 on the side of the pully, the noise temporarily goers away.

only sold wth the tensioner from FoMoCo as the spring in the arm could be weak and also causing some of your issues.
now Im guessing it's for a 2001 Mustang Gtif-so $43.71 + s&h and in stock

ooops...sorry yes...2001 GT...early production if that matters. yeah I confirmed the chip/squeak today with a stethoscope.

Randy, would I be saving any $$ on the part by getting it from you? I was wondering because of the s&h, as opposed to getting it from my local Ford dealer.

that price is cheaper than I thought it would be anyway though.

Randy again, FTW! Im surprised that he can get these parts for us so cheap, that's a great price and I believe it's actually less than I could even get it from "the zone."

Thanks Randy. well it got so bad today that I thought it was going to come apart and leave me stranded...so I went to my local FoMoCo dealership and picked up the part. I just couldn't wait. I got it for a tad less you quoted me...but I get my parts at wholesale since i'm "in the biz."
