can you get me a price on some stock front rotors for a 2001 mustang gt? thanks.

$55.00 each for the Motorcraft brand and $105.00 each for the oem ones, + shipping

what's the difference between the motorcraft and oem rotors? will they stop just as good and last as long as oem?

also, i have another question. do i need the dust shield? or can i take it off without it affecting much?

quality is the same, your just paing for the "FORD" name and what dust shields?

i have a dust shield on the back side of the front rotors. looks to me like it keeps heat in and blocks cool air but i dont know for sure. i want to take them off.

the factory ones, which attach to the spindle behind the caliper are they to duct-in cooler air and keep the brake systen cooler, I don't think you want to remove them
