I heard that too, so sad. He has always been one of my favorite quarterbacks, and was a great person who was involved in the community and never appeared to let the star-factor kick in. Sad day.

I have my suspicions about this one though..

This one worked out one of 3 ways.
  • McNair tells Girlfriend he's leaving her, she shoots him then kills herself.
  • Girlfriend's significant other catches McNair with his girl, shoots McNair then kills his girl making it look like a suicide.
  • or.. McNair's wife catches him cheating, shoots him, then shoots the girlfriend making it look like a suicide...
I tend to lean towards the last scenario, but either way.. Who cares? Only people I feel sorry for in the situation would have to be his kids, but we all know that they're set and have millions to live off of for years to come.

Yeah, I think you can about rule out murder-suicide...they would've had prints on the gun almost immediately, and you'd think that the splatter angles would tell a lot of the story too. But who knows, I'm no cop.
