The facts are that with the BCS program, you need to root for oponents who beat you to win in other games. It is how you get points. It would be better for KU if they had beat OU, trust me especially with WV loosing. If MU had won, it would have meant KU would have moved-up in the polls most likely.

 

That is VERY true WaterDR. Being a USC fan we almost NEVER route for UCLA, however we needed UCLA to beat Oregon last week so of course I was quietly routing for them.

I guess some fans don't quite understand that sometimes in order for your team to catch a break or advance you have to sometimes route for a team you might hate. I've been watching college football for a long time and I can't think of a season where I haven't routed for a team I didn't like so things could fall into line for the team I like.

oh and Mizzou is not a fraud, they just got beat by a better team. If anyone is a fraud it's Kansas. Play someone Kansas!

First off I will never root for a team that beat mine...even if it helps us out. In this case, it did help us out, as MU is going to the Cotton Bowl, and we are most likely in the Fiesta Bowl.

Secondly the entire College Football BCS and polls is a complete farce.

How in the hell can MU be ranked higher than KU, when MU lost 2 games to the same team, and KU has only 1 loss. Also how can a KU team that didn't play this week move down 3 spots, when an OSU team that hasn't played in 2 weeks moves up to #1?

LSU does not deserve to be in the title game, they lost at home to an unranked Arkansas team, and gave up 52 points in the process. KU loses by a measly 8 points, to then #3 team in the nation, later #1, in their only loss of the season and they get penalized for it? What a crock of ****!
