PS - I have a friend with a '93 Cobra with 6k on the ticker. BUT (and a big but) the car got stolen and all body parts and motor was taken. He bought this way from the owner. He is putting it back together with another wrecked, higher mileage Cobra.

Funny thing, though, the low mile car was NOT insured (long story), so never reported. Has good, low mileage title.

No way, that sucks. I'm just outside of Chicago, about 20 min or so. My stable needs to fill up more, next year we're planning on openeing the doors for the new gt 500. I am not sure if I will keep the 03 but debating on it, I have a 03 mitsu I drive on a daily basis so tha fact is I got 2 car payments now and if I get the shelby, that'll be 3 and that would seriously take some coin away from the 92 which I'm trying so hard to finish. Tehre have been a couple cobras being auctioned off on ebay for a fiar price, but it's alot more than what they were new, one of them only had 250 original miles, plastic on seats ect ect I couldn't believe it! There's alot of cool things here, if anyone has tuned with a predator as far as electric fan settings due to lower thermostat please pme me, need help
Thanks guys!

Wheaton is cool, alot of my buddies live ther but you gotta watch for the coppers, they like a controlled town and are very tough on cars going over the speed limit. I like it around here just wish there were more car shows than thursday in elmhurst off york rd, thursday in Dwoners and saturday in Lombard, if there were shows 7 days a week I'd be there lol

Yup, Wheaton was always tough on speeders etc...

I used to live near Buttlerfield Road between Wiesbrook and Orchard. e were across the street from Herrick Lake pretty much.

It's going pretty ok. I am trying to figure out how to use this damn predator. If anybody HAS CHANGED THEIR THERMOSTAT and used a diablo or a SCT to change your ELECTRIC FAN SETTING please help me!! I have a 180 degree thermostat and would like to go to a 160 but have heard these cars do not run optimally at that temperature so I would like to reset the fans to turn on when the thermostat opens however I'm not sure on when and what degree to shut the thing off? Everything I have dealt with has been mechanical, not electric although we are putting a Meziere on my 92. Thanks for all the hellos!

Well I adjusted my predator, I basically follwed the 4 degree spread and the 6 degree spread on the on and off for hi and lo speed. I noticed a huge improvement in cooling, now just wondering what I have to do for tuning.
Thanks for all the replies, this site is great!
