Hello...new member here
Hi everyone...I've been a Ford guy for a long time, but never owned a Stang until recently with my purchace of a mint '01 GT convertible. The car has 19k on it and never saw snow, barely saw rain. It's a 5-speed, has SFC's installed, a cold air kit, OR H pipe, Flowmasters, Steeda shifter and timing adjuster and was dyno tuned by Jerry. It also has the Bullitt suspension and Bullitt interior installed, along with a Mach1 chin spoiler and some black accents on the hood and spoiler. Car runs 13.4 with stock gears and tires. Just ordered the Bullitt pedal kit to round out the interior and will be in the market for some black 17x10.5 Bullitt wheels for the back, with 17x9's in the front, along with 4.10s to help get it moving a little better. The car is Zinc yellow with a black top and black interior.
My other toy is a Kenne Bell Blowzilla fed 1993 Thunderbird that I bought brand new back in '93. It's got a DSS Pro Bullit low compression 306 and way too much stuff to list here. Still finishing it up, so I don't have any hp or times on it yet. The goal is mid-tens though...
Then there's the bike...dyno'd bone stock at 108hp at the wheel. It now has a chip, K&N and exhaust, so I should be in the 112-115hp range now. Those V-Rods are pretty tweaked right out of the box, not much more can be gotten without $$$ parts (cams, big bore kits, turbos, etc).

I don't have a bunch of pics right now, but here's one I took when I got her home. The Bullitt suspension is nice, the car handles like it's on rails, albeit I don't have any seat time in other Mustangs to compare it to. One thing I noticed though, is that it sits a little lower in the rear, probably due to the extra weight of the convertible. Some air bags might be in order...and definately some 10.5" wheels when I am able. I really like the Bullitt interior, the side bolsters on the seats are much bigger than the stock GT seats

I bought the V-Rod while she was out travelling on business. It's easier to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission! Plus, I got such a great deal I couldn't pass it up...now she won't let me sell it. I wasn't serious about it, but tested the waters nonetheless...

Thanks for the welcome! Luckily the bike is done with most of it's mods (still have a few chrome pieces to get) as is the Stang. The Bird has not seen any mod money since I got the bike. This winter, it's back to that project, unless I pick up those black Bullitt wheels for the Stang first
I guess I'll throw that out for opinions...what do you guys think about switching to black DD Bullitt wheels? I think with the black accents (the rear bumper has "Mustang" in black too) it'll look kick-a$$. Those 8" rear wheels are way too far inbound for my tastes...some 315's and 4.10 gears should really help out
It'll really look like a bumble bee then!
