Yah man. Thats her. I actually got the honda about 3 years ago. I was looking for a beater that got great gas mileage and that ran well in the snow. I live 25 miles from my work, so having a Mustang for a daily driver isnt very practical for me. The stang became a garage queen and i drover her on errands/weekends/nice days.

So ive been driving her for several years before i sold the stang.

i picked her up for about 1,000 with 105k miles on the odometer. She is an 84.

Since then i have replaced the exhaust from the manifold back to the muffler, new door handle, new rear view mirror, new clutch, clutch cable, fuel filters, fuel pump, thermostat, stereo, battery, speedo cable, rebuilt the carburator, brake pads, headlights, bulbs in the rear, oh man i dont know what else.

All in all she runs great, turns over every time, and if she breaks down she is easy and relativly inexpencive to fix. Im fully confidant i can get another 150k miles out of her and she gets me 40mpg.

I defaintly miss the mustang, but it is nice having that extra $600 in my pocket.

I was planning on saving up for a foxbody, but now im starting to think that by the way the prices of mustangs are plummetting in 2-3 years i can probably pick up a Mach1 with under 50k miles for about 7 grand, and that is what im hoping for. I like cobras, i like vettes, but the 03/04 Mach 1 has always been one of my dream cars. I love em!


EDIT: Funny thing, my house, honda, and wife are all from 1984. lol

greatest thing about the Hondizzle is she is invisable to rradar.

No bullshit.

I can be baja'ing down C-470 at 105mph and blaze right past a cop who is gunning with his radar, and they dont even look twice at me.. its happened so many times i dont even bother slowing down.

personally i think cops probably assume only a borderjumper would be driving a car that ugly, and they dont want to fill out the paperwork so they ignore me.
