Hey there!
Just wanted to say hi! My uncle told me about this site. I bought my first Mustang about a year and a half ago. I had a honda civic before and it was my birthday and nobody really got me anything. So i went with a friend to look for a subaru for him and saw my dream car (that was acctually affordable lol) and i told him,"dude check that Mustang out i love it!" well he didn't find a car there soo i was itching to test drive it. So we did and i pretty much did a burn out at the dealer ship since i have never drove a car with power before. After that i bought it and have loved it since! Its a 2002 Mustang GT bullit edition.
I'd like to find a Mustang Club here in Aurora Colorado
Thanks for reading!

Welcome to MB! Great to see another Coloradan here...that makes four that I'm aware of...
Jacktheripper, Badfish, myself, and now you. Enjoy your stay!
I'm pretty sure I'm not allowed to mention other car clubs that aren't associated with MB here, so check your PMs

Thats my friend's MR2 in the background
Sorry it took so Long. And by my stupidity i read that little thing on the inside of my door and it is a 2001. Wether its a bullitt or not is debatable.

shows us a pic under the hood
lol
that will tell
Bullets were only made in Black and dark dark green from what i remember. not positive.,
the surefire way to tell is to look under the hood.
Bullitt
this is a GT engine bay
this is the only silver bullet i know of.

here is a bullitt
upgraded brakes with the running pony, bullet rims, no spoiler, sifferetn sideskirts (same as cobra?) and the intake on the engine is dfferent, different sidescooops
I think you have a GT, but the bullets only had like and extra 5hp anyways. They are nice cause they are rare, but aint nothing wrong with a GT and that one looks pretty sharp.

my only rec, is to ditch the bullitt badging, go with a 281, or V8, or GT or something. Most mustang enthusiests are gonna call you a poser for having bullitt badging.
but like i said, that is a sharp looking stang you have there
and put on a chin spoiler.

yea just looked up the vin number haha i'll take it off in the morning.Good thing i didn't bragg to a bunch of people about that. I'm not to keen on know what kinda car is what i can fix them though! And thank you for the kudos about my car from what i see you guys have some pretty kick'in Stangs ur selves. And a Chin spoiler came with the car but i kinda shattered that off 3 days after buying it because of a speed bump. They look pretty cheap and e-z to install soo i'll get me one of those.

Nothing that wasn't previously on the car when i got it. It has a upgraded Suspension and Exhaust. And the previous owner put a very high performance Clutch in it for god knows what reason. I took that out and just put the stock back in I've been mainly doing repairs since its my daily driver. I do have big plans for it just got to win that good old lottery, or get a better job, The only thing i put in it so far is a Stereo Deck. Its a 7inch lcd screen. was from my last car. And ty again for the welcome man!

Hey man, yea no worries your car is badass. I test drove one almost identical to it about a month ago. I've been looking for a college car beens I'm putting mine up unitl out of college. I love the silver and thats the kind of GT I was looking for. You can always take the Bullit badges off like the rest of the guys suggested. I think that if you take them off and like do cool mods to the car that make it look unique in your own way, you can order single letter emblems and spell out a cool name for your car like SILVER BULLIT, or QUICKSILVER and put it where the Bullit emblem is. If you are really attatched to the Bullit idea, I say sell the GT and buy you a Bullit cause they are gonna be running for about the same price as a used GT of those years. Infact theres a Mint practially brand new Bullit on ebay right now that has only 986 miles on it and is going for I think 15,000 so you can always trade up if you really like the Bulitt idea. But I say just have fun with what you got. It's a mustang so you can't go wrong.

Cool deal, i do agree that it kinda sucks i got jiffed on the bullitt thing but thats not a big deal. I took the Bullitt decal off and replaced it with a V8 emblem today. I only know of the Mustang Bullitt from the Steve McQueen movie.lol. I'll just stick with what i got, put to much money in it already to trade up haha. I'm just happy i didn't talk to someone that might have known about Bullitts enough to get put down on while bragging. Talk about embarssing!
But thank you guys for the info!
