Default Another newbie from SoCal

Hey Ya'll!
I'm from San Diego and I own a 1990 GT. I would love to get a newer stang (1999 and up), but before doing so I'm gonna learn to "trick out" mustangs with my '90 sleeper. She's in bad shape, but hopefully with all your wisdom out there, she'll smoke some imports.

Yeah, all the emblems were removed, but you can tell she's a 5.0 when she rumbles by...can't wait till I put on those 2-chamber Flowmasters and set off some alarms! My neighbors are gonna hate me.

Welcome bro, where in SD do you live? I'm off of the 15 on Aero Dr. I maybe have seen you at some events.

Hey Kid Roush!
I'm in Chula Vista, but don't really go out much. I do head over to the La Mesa car shows occasionally. I mountain bike in your area (Mission Trails) a lot, taking the Clairemont Mesa Blvd exit and heading all the way to the end of it. If you ride mountain bikes, you probably have seen me. I'm guessing you have a Roush Mustang...very nice!

Man, I ran those trails over there for the first time last week and sprained my ankle very badly. That first hill was a killer for me and then the trail had a boat load of rocks and that's where it happened.

You should check out a meeting...

Good group to hang out with and talk about cars.

Hey Kid Roush,
More power to ya, running Mission Trails in the summer. Hope the ankle heals up quick. I think I know the "rocky" area you're talking about, I love going through that on my bike. I'm not a runner, just a slow-*** mountian biker that crashes a lot. I guess that why I get me speed fix through my stang, when she wants to work. I might as well just bite the bullet and take her into a Ford dealership. We'll see.

Default Wildhorse Club?

Hello New2GT!
Are you a current member? San Diego chapter? I'd like to attend a meeting sometime to see what's going on. I'm just new to writing in forums. I only started to find tech information on my car so I don't have to drive to a local Ford dealership. So far, no one has replied to my thread in the tech forum.

Yeah...I've only been a member for like 2 months, it's cool just to hang out and talk about cars and stuff. We meet every Thursday. You should check it out. Good Times. Go to the site and introduce yourself on the boards.

Are there any perks on becoming a member? Any special discounts on services or aftermarket parts? I've looked at the Wildhorses site and had a hard time finding out about the next meeting, but I did see that all the head honchos are from Oceanside. Will the next meeting be in that area?

We meet every Thursday at 8:00pm the Cheveron off the Jefferson off 78. Theres more info about the club here:

http://www.wildhorsesclub.com/mboard...ad.php?t=13423

The details about the weekly meet are in the link in my previous post.
We also do things like cruises, movies, and recently attended a big BBQ that was hosted by Wicked Stangs. Stuff like that...generally a good time.

New2GT,
I checked out the forum in Wildhorses Club and tried to start up a new thread...no luck. Seems like a really cool site for information, but I just can't get in. San Diego Mustang Club will be having a gathering in Chula Vista on July 12, 3rd Ave. Know anyone is this club?
