Default New but Old!

New to this forum but not new to stangs. Went to high school outside of Detroit in the 60s when HP ruled!

We currently have 6 stangs until I drop off a title on the 66 GT this week end and then we are down to 5, 3 that run!

My wife has an 05 Roush that I want to put 18 inch chrome wheels on.

I have an 03 Cobra Convertible Anniversary Edition. Runs mid 13s pretty much stock with street tires and an old overweight driver.

A sweet 65 Convertible that I am making into a Shelby Clone. Busted the U joints last week end after putting in a new AOD trans. Found the weak spot in the drive train when it banged second. :crybaby2:

Two projects ready to go to the Body Shop, 65 Fast Back and a 68 Shelby Convertible Replica with a 428 SCJ. Plate is FAK SNAK.

Looking forward to hearing what the folks are doing with their Ponies..
Rick

Welcome to the forum always great to see members that lived through the muscle car era which some of us missed out on. Looks like you have a busy schedule with all those projects. Do you have any pics.

Default Ponies keep me busy!

I have a lot of fun with the cars. I am a pretty active member of the local SVTOA chapter and like to do local car shows. It is also good family stuff. The boys and the grandson dig it too!

Here are a couple of pics. I'll see how this process works and then look for some better ones..

Thanks for the welcome
Rick

Default Almost Body Shop Ready!

Here is the 68 Shelby GT 500 Convertible Replica we are working on. It is almost ready for the body shop. About 5 years and counting now!

The old ones are fun but the new toys are so much easier to play with! Just get in and go! Took the Cobra to the strip last week end and taking it to a road event next month. Just turn the key and play!

Default New Driveway mix in the works

Picked up the check for the 66 GT today. It was a sweet car but the boss wanted Jack! Got the new performance drive shaft in the 65 and it seems to run well.

I have two more old ones to finish and I'll have to sell one more. I hear an 07 Cobra calling me in the future! No Chrome Wheels for Jack until Ford comes out with 18 inchers for the 05.

Thanks for the nice words on the cars. We will have 3 cars at the local car show Sunday in Wheaton IL.
