Default Newbie from Colorado :)

Hey, I'm a 'Stang newbie...Ive been cruising the forums for a while,I dont actually have a 'Stang yet, I plan on going to the dealer on friday (27th) and find the right 99-04 GT for me. Ive already compiled a list of mods I plan to order RIGHT after I get the stang, tell me what you think:

From MT:
SLP Loudmouth CatBack
SLP Shorty O/R X-Pipe
SLP Long Tube Headers w/ coating
FRPP 3.73's
Steeda Underdrive Pullys
Diablo Sport Predator
Billet Shorty Antenna
2 17x9 Polished Bullit Wheels
2 17X10.5 Polished Bullit Wheels

From other sites:
K&N FIPK CAI
2 275/40/17 Goodyear Eagle F1's
2 315/35/17 GoodYear Eagle F1's

This is all gonna set me back about four grand

I have a couple questions:
Are the GoodYear Eagle F1's worth it?? and does the coting on the headers do anything besides appearance, i hear heat resistance, etc but i want to know if its true.

Thanks! and I'm glad to be aboard!

Default Headlights

I think one of the only real styling differences are the headlights. Im not sure if they came with tinted headlights before 2002

Welcome!! That sounds like a damn good start but I would go with something besides the Goodyear Eagle F1's.You can get a better tire for alot less money and Ive never had good luck with Goodyear.Just my opinion but Nitto,BFG,Yokohama and Sumitomo would be my choice.

And yes the coating on the headers are worth it.They will cut down alot on the heat.

Default BF Goodrich

I have the T/A KDWs because I actually drive in the rain too but if you are a fair weather person go with the KDs. Don't get them if you like to spin your tires and you dont have serious power adders to rip the rubber, the damn things grip
