Although i am not yet an owner of my own mustang i figured id join this forum so i could know which year to go with... im looking to buy a mustang gt next spring after i pay my sled and truck off... im looking at any year from the 1994 gts throught the 2002 gt's... any help on which one of these years is the best will be appreciated... my brother owns a 1994 mustang gt its laser tint red with the cobra r hood on it and looks very nice... does anyone know if they make the cobra r hood with the svo scoop for the 1999-2004 models..i know they make it for 94-98 but i havent found one for the newer years yet...

If you want a pushrod motor get a 94 or 95 GT. If you get a newer one, I would get a 2001 or newer. Not sure on the hoods.

 

Cobra R hoods are available for the 99-04 models.

 

yea ive seen a few companies selling the cobra r hood for the 99-04 but i prefer the cobra r hood with the svo hood scoop on top. if you have any info let me know.

Ive personally never seen that hood for the 99+ models, but there are great looking hoods out there for sure. My personal fav is the 00 Cobra R hood. Just a great looking hood. Welcome to the board.
