Default New Mustang owner from Pensacola

Hey guys, my name is Kevin and I just got my first car (A mustang, thank god ) On wednesday of last week. I've been into mustangs since I was around 9-10 years old, and I finally got one, so I'm grateful. It's only a v6 though but for my first car I'm satisfied, as long as it wasn't a Civic or somethin. I live in Pensacola, Florida, near the bay.

We found this Mustang in Navarre, Florida, some old lady's car she kept in her garage. Details below:

2000 Mustang v6
-Slushbox transmission
-Oxford white exterior / charcoal gray interior
- 47,670 miles
- Mach 460

(sorry for bad pics, didn't have much time to take them, these are from Wednesday night after I picked it up)

There isn't many (Actually, hardly any) issues with the stang, no dents, and a few small chips behind the rear tires, but overall suprisingly clean and in great shape for being so old (+ the engine is clean as hell, I'll get pics of that soon) The only thing was the two headlights were both condensing, and the right one was cracked open. We sealed them but the condensation is building up again so I'm going to order the Smoked 99-04 lights from MT pretty soon. Hoping to do a lot of work on the car to get it running nice, right now all I've done is removed the intake silencer. I'm planning on getting a new exhaust for it but the V6 to GT exhaust adapter thing is confusing the hell out of me for the moment, so I'll have to read up on that later.

I spent about 6 hours on Thursday washing the body, wheels, tires, and cleaning the interior and vacuuming the thing, But our pine trees love to drop leaves and sticks so it's already got stuff on it again, gotta cut those down..

I've been reading up on these boards for about a year now, but wanted to make sure I was going to have a Mustang before I actually registered and posted, but now I do so..here I am

BTW: You guys' GT's look amazing

Thanks man, I do plan on getting new rims, Anthracite ones, but for some reason, the 18x9 and 18x10 DD look like they're different colors, maybe it's from the camera flash?

And in order to lower it, would I just need new springs, or do I need struts/shocks as well?

depending on how low you want to go, you could do just the springs. some ppl say that you dont need C/C plates but with my eibach prokit i needed them. it you have the extra cash i would do springs, shocks, struts, and C/C plates.

Wow, your stang looks great, Don't think I've seen that one around here though. Did you take those near downtown Pcola? It looks somewhat familiar but I can't say I recognize that first building. I live near the Airport off Spanish trail

Thanks and thanks Greg. All the pictures were taken downtown. The building with all the windows is Bank of Pensacola. I live off of Olive Rd. About 5 min from Spanish Trail. At night I work up at Bed Bath & Beyond. The car is always parked near 9th in front of Best Buy. You should swing by sometime.

Best Buy eh? My usual stomping grounds, lol.

You hear about their shoplift incident on Mother's day?

Maybe sometime you can help me put some mods on my car cause at this moment, I don't know crap about modding vehicles other than what looks good, lol.
