Newbie From Honolulu, Hawaii
Hey all. Little about myself...I just spent the last 4 years in Japan and now am stationed at Hickam Air Force Base, Honolulu, Hawaii. I was big into the mustang hobby but sold mine when I went to Japan. I have since picked up a 2004 Comp Orange Cobra. I couldn't find one here so I bought this off SVTPerformance.com and had it shipped from Florida to here. It has a few goodies on it.

Thanks All! I really an enjoying the car here. I am part of a club here and get to do cruises. Our track has closed here, so that sucks the big one.

I prefer the tinted look. The cobra emblem in the rear bumper is actually black in color. The flash made it come out chrome. It actually looks pretty good with the tinted windows. But, to each his/her own.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I ended up buying the car from the mainland because cobras are far and few in between here. They want a fortune at dealerships here. A 04 mystic coupe here was selling for $36K. I bought mine with about $5K worth of mods for $29.5K. It does turn a eye or two here. It has dynoed at 480HP on a conservative tune. My only mod plan is to get a 2lb lower pulley which should put me around 500HP.
I have been in the service 22 years and still counting. I just got back from Baghdad back in October. I was running with a Convoy Team cruising some of the most dangerous roads in the world.

You're welcome Marc. If my dumbass would have stayed in I would have retired in two years. Oh well, no worries. Enjoy Hawaii while you are there. Nothing against this site but check out the Terminator section at Modular Fords.com for even more info.

Yeap, I frequent that site too. One of the best tech sites (IMOP) is SVTPerformance.com. I guess I like that site because that is where I found my cobra.

Lotta vets and enlisted here. I did 4 yrs in the AF myself, was in Misawa AB Japa in the 35th comm, WIREDAWGS! , then i got the hell out. pay was too good for communication techs in the outside. Best 4 years of my life though, thats for sure.

There is getting to be a decent amount of us on here from colorado as well.
