Default Hey all

Newb here.
not to stangs, just the forum.
My names Jared adn im from Ohio. currently i don't own a newer mustang. my dad and i have restored and collected a good amount of older stangs.
Our Corral list is in my signature.

i have owned a couple newer stangs.
My first car was an 86 GT with t-tops. loved that car. wrecked it and bought a Z24 and then traded the wrecked stang for a 89 S/C thunderchicken.
i also had a 91 GT hatch for a while. it was an atx though, and soon traded it for a lifted F-150.

Right now im trying on trading my lifted 97 Sierra for a 94 Cobra with mods.
HOPEFULLY it will work out soon and ill be geting my new ride.
I have always wanted a Cobra. last week i test drove a 99 cobra and fell in love with it. plus the $9500 price tag made me want it more. lol i didn't get it cause i couldn't get enough of a trade on my truck. also found a 93 tripple black vert with 47k miles for $8900. wouldn't trade either. lol

im a big car person. b4 i bought my truck i had a bagged 99 celica. yes, before yall get to it, it was rice. lol i don't care. won my share of trophys and made alot of new friends.
hope to make more with the new car.
lol

oh, BTW here is the mod list for the cobra im looking at. tell me if its a good deal?

The body of the car has 127,000 miles on it. The motor is a 5.0 and has roughly 33,000, receipt to prove it. The car has a cam change, injectors, MSD ignition, Accel wires, 3.73 gears, 2" lowering springs, BBK shorty headers not installed, Flowmaster 3.5" catbacks, All the goodies of the Cobra motor, Wheelspacers, Custom matched red interior panels, Dark tint, Amp wiring kit, JVC headunit. It has leather interior and has a brand new clutch and resurfaced flywheel installed . Also, it will come with a programable Superchip that cost me $350 which isn't installed. It currently has cast iron heads on it, but the deal could include GT40 Aluminum heads.

The negatives of the car are as follow:
It has a cheap, not actually, it cost about $350, aftermarket cowl hood that looks cool, but doesn't latch well and it also has some spider cracking on the front of the hood.
There is a small cigarette burn hole on one of the rear seats.
it is in need of a buffing and waxing becuase there is wax build up around the bottom trim.
One thing worth mentioning that I noticed recently is if you don't shift at the right RPMs into 2nd it will sometimes want to pull out but if you know how to really drive a manual and shift at the right RPMs it poses no problems. No rust, it has been stored winters."

Syncro problem in the transmission. you might want to stay away from that unless you know how to drop and rip apart that trans and install new syncros and/or shift fork.
