should i see any significant gains with a new high flow cat x pipe?

is this over your stock h pipe?

I think they say you get gains of 5-10 rwhp?

You'll definatly feel more power in the mid to high RPM's.

Probably about a 6 rwhp gain from an X-pipe. Not enough to "really" feel it.

If you want to FEEL the power change from an exhaust... You would need to do a FULL exhaust consisting of Long Tube Headers, Mid-pipe (X-pipe) and a catback. This will produce about 20 rwhp, which is definitely something you can feel.

FULL exhaust + CAI about 25 rwhp which is going to be a real significant gain for an exhaust, something you can definitely feel.
