Ive heard good things about there intakes but I went with a K&N FIPK and i love it. Huge difference over stock. Both of them are good... go witht the better deal.

I gained 15ish rwhp with my JLT over the Mac CAI I had for 3 years. It looks really sharp since it's painted to match the car. As for price, I paid $200 for mine for the entire fenderwell kit.

Wow, that's a ton of RWHP for a CAI....are you supercharged?

Any hints on how much the cat jumping out of the bag will be? If within my "budget" will order one!

***and by "budget"....I mean, "money I can spend without the wifey noticing the notable difference in the checkbook"!***

Yeah she's blown, 9psi KB 1.7L kit and all the trimmings. This was before the blower though and after having it retuned for the increased low speed air flow. I was amazed when I saw the numbers myself. If I were y'all I'd scream BS at what I'm saying, but I saw the dyno runs myself personally. I've even got the charts posted on another site, I just haven't gotten around to putting them up here.

This summer I'm going to do some experimenting. I have free tunes for life on my car cuz I was the first dyno tune he did when he opened up his performance shop.

I'm going to do a base run with the Stock filter and inlet tube, then just a K&N filter, then my present BBK, and finally a JLT I'm going to order and more than likely switch too.

I wonder if the tune was the cause on the increased power, not the CAI. Usually N/A 2 valves are lucky to get 3-5rwhp--maybe a little more from a CAI.

Seeing as how the tune was already maxed for 93 Octane on the Mac CAI and then again on the JLT, I think it's safe to say that the addition of the JLT allowed the car to create more power when optimized.

Rofl @ 15 rwhp...unless your blown its not gonna happen!

Lets not forget that most of these claims of increased hp is after a tune..

What do you mean by maxed out at 93 octane? Was the timing maxed out without detonation.....A/F leaned out for maximum performance ect...???. Not to be a D*** but I almost sure it was because of the tune.

You can be sure of that if you want. But with the timing maxed for 93 Octane and no detonation and A/F ratio in the 12.3-12.7 region with the Mac and then retuned for the same timing and same A/F ratio with the JLT installed, I picked up 15RWHP. I don't blame you for being skeptical, I would be too if I saw someone on a forum posting the same results that I got. However, these are the facts and I witnessed both runs with my own eyes. As soon as I find the first dyno sheet, I'll post it.

I love my JLT RAI....mine rubbed a little on the oil cap but I just trimmed a corner off the cap and no problem since.....the tube is HUGE.

How 'bout that. The place that dyno'd that is the place that installed my KB setup and did all the dyon runs with my JLT before the blower too.
