Default Exhaust

What do you guys think of the MRT catted h pipe and Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust setup? Currently have the catback with a stock h pipe. Will the MRT really wake the sound up? If anyone has any clips please post them up. I know there was a clip of a blue Mach 1 with this setup about a year ago.

The guy says that the center section has to be welded back together. I though it came with a u clamp? Would welding it cause any problems.

If you like the old school mustang rumble......Then thats the best setup you can buy. Also headers are nice.

He cut the part of the hump that goes over the rearend. Thats how you get them off when theyre welded on. As long as the welds are nice and clean you wont have any problems with it. You might have them spray some clearcoat paint over the welds so they dont rust.

Sounds like youll be fine.

No! I'm talking about the H pipe not the catback. I already have the flowmaster catback on my car.

Do you guys get what I'm saying? The little pipe (in the middle) that holds the h pipe together was cut. So, if i re weld it, could there be any problems? Once something is cut, doesn't it become shorter? So wouldn't the h pipe be a bit narrower after the welding than it was originally?

OK! Thanks. Just making sure that welding it back together won't mess anything up.
