I've gotta figure out how I'm going to rout my throttle cable soon. I'm gathering my remaining parts and I'm aiming to fire this thing up by the end of the month if everything goes my way. I think a longer throttle cable may be my best bed for making the turn but if anyone has any ideas on other options that would help.

I also just sent off my rotating assembly for balancing, ordered oil pump, injectors, and filters, about to put in the order for fuel lines and other than some miscellaneous hardware, I should have everything I need to get it going.

Trying to get my fuel level sensor wired up. Does anyone know what the white wire on here goes to? I've got the power wires to the pump, the yellow wire to the float, and I can't figure out where the white wire goes.

Default 5.4 HPS doesnt fit flush

Hello Everyone,

I have a question for all the people who have used the HPS 5.4 intake. Has anyone had any issues of fitment flush on the heads. I have a r3d's intake and just went to set it on motor but it is hitting in the valley area and not allowing it to set flush on heads. My block is a GT500 and is probably the NVH style block. I am just looking for suggestions on how to make it fit. I have heard shaving letters off the bottom plate and grinding the area out on the block.

Thanks Guys.

Just use the E46 3V pump.
It's about 50 bucks your cost

Which side?
FRPP has a complete kit for the 5.4 32V for a very reasonable cost.

I'll check out that pump, didn't know it was an option. I don't need the whole kit, I already have everything except the one tensioner. I think it's the passenger side but I'm not really sure, would have to go out in the garage and check.

Guys, I read that on the 2v blocks that are going to use 4v heads you have to drill a hole in the block? Does anyone have any pics or tell me where the hole has to go? I assume its related to cooling. Thanks.

I actually just pulled a set a few days ago. They were out of a stock rebuilt longblock that's never been run. They have 0 miles on them.

Or just get a drop in.

even the Boss 290 manifold.

Anyone?

Also can I re-use my chain followers and tensions from my 4.6 4v?

Are the SOHC and DOHC timing chains the same for a 5.4?

My timing cover arrived yesterday. 150$ to my door. I got a eye on a used crank (std mains and rods) for 200$ + shipping.
