Default headers??

I want to get some headers, but are undecided on which one's to get. I've heard that the equal length shortys are good but a pain to install, and the regular shortys aren't worth the time or money and I don't want l/t headers because I want to keep my exhaust as it is. has anyone installed the new BBK equal length shortys??? or even the regular shortys???

Go with the BBK's, better gains than the Ford shorties.

I believe there are some midlength pipes running around now that are posting close to the same gains as long tubes... though I'm not sure how tough they are to install. Something else to consider...

well I want to keep my exhaust the same, so I want some direct bolt-on headers, which leave me with the equal length shories, or unequal legth, and I don't know which to get. Is it worth the trouble of the install for the equal, only to gain a few hp??

Any header is a p.i.t.a. on these cars. Go with the equal length BBK's.

Yea, if you are set on shorties, go with the new tuned length BBK's. Good luck, and have fun installing them.
