cool block. how much power are you thinking? please keep us updated

Not sure as we are not going for more power than stock but reliability when forced induction is added. I will also put on 4.10 gears and a bump up timming. I am not sure what else I will have to get maybe headers.

mmm...forged blocks...mmmm Lookin good man, glad its finally coming together. What you doing about the heads and cams and stuff? Stock?
|
hey there is a roller rocker package with solid lifters that helps out alot!!! I'll research to see where I saw it. It was in a recent issue of MMFF

I am going to keep the heads stock as I am not going all out right now since this will be a street car and not strip. I want about 400-450 at the wheels at stage 2 of the project. I think anything more will be imposible to drive on street tires and I dont see the point of having a 600hp street car if you have traction problems. Of course Im saying that now but you never know. I definitly want a turbo set up as I miss my old SVO stang. I like sound of a v8 with a hint of a turbo. I think I read that article and it made the biggest difference when a power adder was added with the cams. Since I dont want my wife to enroll me in MA (Mustang Anonymous) im going to pass on doing anything extra. Im not doing the engine swap but a local speed shop is doing it for me. So as you can guess its going to be quite a few pennys. On stage 2 I will install the turbo and have it tunned.

I have not done any major suspension work since the whimpy motor I have now does not have issues with traction. I will be replacing suspension stuff after the new block gets put in.
