sooo last weekend i replaced my intake manifold...on my 96 gt welll most of the time the car starts like 1st or 2nd crank no biggie...however once in a while i will turn the key and it will crank and crank and crank not start and i stop crankin and it will do this reppeatedly till it is flooodded.. right so then i push the gas pedal to the floor crank and it will start and have to burn all the flooded excees gas out then i can drive it...the only time it has done this tho is like the other day when i went to the gas station then i came out and had this problem...then it did it today..i drove home from work 5 mins then had to go somwhere and it gave me the same prob...it only does it once itis warm and even then only selectivly i have my own lil opinion but ill let you all give yours first.

Alternator might be going bad. are you getting any battery lights? try hitting your alternator with a hammer. dont go crazy, just give it a good smack. once or twice should do the trick. if it fixes it, your alternator is going down hill.

not to question you or anything but how do you figure alternator...the alternator is deefffffinitly doing its job...the car cranks like crazy and has tons of juice in the battery when the cars not running...the pulley isnt hanging up or anything...if you could elaborate a tad on the alternator theory...im open to any suggestion lol
