Question mixing and matching exhaust components

Hey everyone,
I'm new to the MT forums and I got a quick Q. After searching for an answer on this site I found no results. I was wanting to know what (if any) fitament issues am I looking at if I were to mix and match exhaust products..

Right Now I have Mac LT's and custom mid pipes consisting of 2 high flow cats, no cross-over at all, and of course 40 seriers Flows.

What I want to do is go with SLP catback and matching short o/f x-pipe.... will this match my mac LT's?? I was also considering since my LT's have a 2bolt flange unlike the slip on style on the SLP's, if I could get a different O/R x pipe like a BBK? Anyone have any expeirence with this... I really wanna stay with an x-pipe and hopefully the Slp Cat-back..

Any help to the Nube would be great!
here's a pic of the full exhaust if it helps.

Ive never heard of a mustang with no crossover. That sucks. I bet your car will run so much better after you put the new exhaust on.

No the SLP X pipe will not fit your headers. You need this----->X pipe

The SLP Catback will work either way you go.

agreed

that crossover is a good thing to have, im glad you're adding it. The SLP short o/r x-pipe is designed to fit the SLP LT's so you'd have fitment issues.

I actually bought my car with those headers and horrible Mid-pipes. My stang just doesn't have that chest pounding roar, just a mild rumble typical of a Dynomax cat-back and stock everything else.

That was exactly was I was looking for. I'm glad you showed me that Xpipe, it was looking like I was gonna have to settle for the Mac H. I knew the SLP X wouldn't work with my 2 bolt. Now all i have to do is see if $400+ for the SLP catback is worth not being able to hear the radio....Hmm

thanks again for everyone's input.
