Shorty headers
#6
his sig says he has catted pro-chamber in the mail so he'll probably need the shorties anyway.. I say go for it because I would like to see how well shorties work and sound with catted pro. This is what I'm hoping for in a combination in future.

I recommend SLP creamic coated LT's with the matching SLP Short x-pipe (both can be found on this site). With the SLP LTs, SLP O/R X-pipe, Steeda Catback, Steeda CAI, Accufab 75mm tb and plenum, and with an sct xcal 2 tune I put down 270 rwhp and 306 rwtq. I'd assume that's about a 30-40 rwhp gain from stock

Well if youre planning on improving your cars performance further and eventually plan on doing something like supercharging it I would suggest buying headers. As far as LT's like these guys are sayin or shorties go with what your budget will allow. Do you want to buy another midsection now? Either of them are a pain in teh *** to install. the cheapest and best way to do it is try to get someone who knows how to do it and have them do a side job for you. More people will do it than you think. They make more money that way. regardless if you cant do it yourself youll have to pay someone to do it. food for thought
