Question Springs....

Need some personal opinions here....eibach or h&r? Also what is the difference in the h&r sport and super sport besides the .1 or so drop? Anyone got any pics of the super sports and how they ride?

H&R is probally the best in my opinion. The difference is in the ride quality, the sports will give you a less bumpy ride.

H&R makes a high quality spring. Eibach makes a good product as well, but i've heard stories over the years of the springs settling and making the ride height uneven.

Stock 2000GT Springs - 450 front / 210 rear
H&R Sport Springs - 490-575 front / 250-285 rear: 1.6"/1.5" drop
H&R Super Sports - 700-760 front / 275-300 rear: 1.75"/1.6"

If looks are what your going for then get the H&R Supersports...although I've seen pics of both and I generally cannot tell the difference. The Supersports ride quality will suffer due to the higher spring rate. Supersports will definitely require new Shocks and struts, and probably some Caster Camber plates. If you autocross or prefer to have increased handling Supersports are definitely the way to go.

If you drag race at all or want to 60ft with any sort of quickness I would not recommend the supersports. The Sport springs would be what the doctor ordered for a nice stance, decent 60ft ability, and a slight increase in handling with a slight decrease in ride quality.

Depending on where you shop supersports are generally ~$10.00 more expensive then the sports. I don't have pictures of either but the Supersports sit PERFECT in my opinion.

I plan on purchasing the H&R Sports FWIW.

Good Luck, and post pics of whichever you decide.

Thanks guys. I'm probably leaning towards the h&r sports. I'll post pics after I get them on. Next week I should be getting the 4.10's put in and then a buddy and I are gonna put on the springs.

Does anyone think MT would price match the h&r sports from another competitor? I found them at another site for $219.

Was free shipping included in that price?
