Recalibrating MAF???
I have a 04 GT which the only mod i have is an SLP loudmouth cat-back, and i was looking into buyign an 80mm MAF, but would i have to calibrate the ecu for it or can i just swap it on?? i also have a K&N straight through design intake, but have not installed it yet..

You really need to have the car dyno tuned with a MAF replacement. It is really a pointless mod unless you are putting down so much power that the stock MAF is maxed out. (350 rwhp or even more)

I just ran across an old article in MMFF and they installed an 85 mm C&L kit on a box stock 02 GT.This returned 9 hp and 9 ft lbs of torque at the rear wheels. :) BUT this kit comes with a K&N filter and it makes me wonder how much of the increase is the meter and how much is the filter?

Dont bother with and aftermarket MAF untill you reach about 325 RWHP. they cause more problems than gains on near stock vehicles. I would go with Headers, Gears, X-Pipe or an :D Intake Plenum first.
