Default new heads

a couple of you guys told me to get the 99+ heads and intake for my 96 GT and so i went looking around and i went to advance just to get there price so i could compare and not only were they $500 each for the heads but also he asked what type of valves oval or somthing else so which ones would i need and if there was a cheaper place to get them

Look around on the net. Some places offer a PI kit for like 1200 bucks. Also, Ive seen the ads in MM&FF. Check the classifieds on all the sites. Theres usually a lot of PI heads floating around. Check Modulardepot from time to time and try to get a set of 01+ heads because they have bolt on cam gears.

You can even goto the junkyard and steal the PI setup they have. Modular depot, EBAY, modular powerhouse, corral... those are all great places to find the PI upgrade parts for your vehicle.

thanks and so is dose not matter what kind the valves are ? and alsowould need a PI cam as well

there is a guy on ebay who says PI head swap kits with intakes gaskets heads everything for liek 1,200 bucks. thats what i would do personally.
