I am having problems with my transmission and shifting in gear. I have about 125,000 miles on my transmission w/ a new clutch about 9 months old. For the past 3 months i have been having problems putting my car in 1st gear while sitting at a stand still. I have go to 3rd and got thru all the gears, then back to first to get the car go. Nothing to mention I was getting a lot of shaking and bucking. Like the engine was twisting as it gets going. I am not sure whats going on. Need help. Thanks guys..

 

sounds like either the syncros are bad in the tranny or the clutch isn't fully disengaging. I would make sure it is adjusted properly and if that doesn't do it I would be looking for another tranny or into having that one overhalled.
