Default FYI: Fuel Pressure Sensors are GAY

So on valentines day night i pulled out of my neighborhood with my fiancee in the car (we were going to rent a movie) and my cobra stalled.. WTF? I pulled over and couldn't restart it. After checking everything i could possibly think of, I gave Dustin a call and he came with his SCT tuner, which we used to check the error codes. It was throwing.

P0234 - Engine Overboost

and

P0174 - System Too Lean

Upon talking and checking some other things Dustin decided to unplug the fuel pressure sensor and the car started right up.

That night i did some research on SVTperformance and found out that apparently the fuel pressure sensor on the 03 and 04 cobra's are prone to blowing out easily. One guy calling it a "throw-away" part. I went ahead and ordered a new one from:

http://www.injectedengineering.com/s...roducts_id=735

I had to wait a week for the part to come in, driving the car with no boost..SUCKS, but i was happy as hell when i put the new sensor in and glad to have my boost back. Has anyone else with a 03 - 04 Cobra popped thier fuel pressure sensor or heard of this before?

We had to put an extra one in the glovebox.....

Imagine spending almost $250 to go race with prototype mustangs and other cars only to get there and blow the fuel sensor. LUCKILY they let me come back the following week again for free.
