X-pipe
How hard is it to install an x-pipe?? Any advice that'll save me some time?

Very easy. Just get some leverage to loosen the bolts holding the stock h-pipe to the manifolds.

Awesome... No i gotta do the hardest part, wait for them to come in the mail haha

teh day before go and spray wd40 or whatever on the bolts that hold the stock mid pipe on there will be really rusty and this helps a ton.

Get some penetrating lube for the bolts holding the stock midpipe to the exhaust manifolds (leverage requires a long lever arm, which may become difficult to use under the car), it's been on there for a while so those things will fight you all the way. Also, get some swivel joints for your socket wrench, and have a few extensions handy. Don't forget to disconnect the front O2 sensors (the ones near the manifolds) BEFORE you try letting the pipe down. Since aftermarket x-pipes either have no cats or only the rear cats, it is MUCH easier to put the x-pipe back on, as you have more room to work up by the manifolds. Lastly, if your car is lowered, make sure the U-bolts that connect the x-pipe to the catback are either facing towards each other, or better yet up towards the car body, to avoid any ground clearance issues.

If you have more than 50,000 miles, then it's not illegal, provided you put a mid-pipe w/ cats back on. However, it's way too easy to do and wasting money on labor for someone else to do is just dumb.

Definately get some penetrating lube like previously stated. Pb Blaster from auto zone works good...100x better than wd 40.

pb blaster is the best. if you have access to an impact gun that will also make life easier.
