So, once i got my blower installed i had to remove my stock stb due to the discharge tube getting in the way and not allowing it to bolt down to how it was. So for x mas, my girl friend got me the MM strut tower brace that is supposed to clear aftermarket intake setups and all. So, i go to put it on and it is about 3" off. The tube is clearly not going to let it go down. Anybody ever done an aftermarket stb on a blower setup?

 

yup, i had the same problem, but i had a friend make me spacers that lifted the stb enough to clear the discharge tube and it fit perfect.
