Default spark plugs

about to change the plugs on my 99 gt, i was planning on just using motorcrafts , unless somone has a suggestion on another brand i might use???? also does anyone know the exact torque spec that the plugs are supposed to have on these motors...ive heard some stories about plugs gettin shot out sooooooo im just wondering what the right torque is before i just go out and put them in like i normally would with any old car.

Autolites/Motorcraft (same piece basically), Champions, NGK, and Denso are good brands. Also, torque specs for the plugs are around 11 ft-lbs.
