Default Pro-Kit vs. Drag Launch

Hey guys, I'm going to be picking up my springs at local shop and I found that they have the Pro-Kit for 209.99 and the Drag Launch for 229.99. Can anyone tell me the differences between them. I am pretty much set on the Pro-Kit. I basically would like to use my car as my daily driver with seldom trips to the track.

the drag kit has a long soft front spring. also, it has an airbag in the rear. the drag kit sits higher. the drag kit will give you a lot of front to back weight transfer good for launching. the pro kit lowers the entire car and gives a more road race style handling characteristic

THe pro kit isnt gonna drop it as much as you think.I would get sportlines if you want a nice drop. But to get a nice ride they would require shocks/struts also.

Sportlines:

Drag springs cut 1 coil in the front:

Pics above SHOW it doesnt raise it (that is if you cut the one coil off).

Ive heard h&r's sag after a while esp in the rear.
I ran sportlines(which are slightly lower than the pro kit) for 5 years with no issues and 315's in the rear.

Mines wasnt to low.I never scraped my longtubes or had any issues. But it really depends on what you want out of the car.

i have a set of pro-kits on my cobra now and they ride just fine with a decent drop. i had originally thought to get the sportlines because then i would have the complete 00 R suspension, but decided against it because i wanted some streetability.

matched with my 00 R 18's, the pro-kits give the car a nice lowered look without looking like it's completely slammed and that's what i was looking for.
