Alright so here's the deal. my friend has a 1999 Mustang GT. He drives into town and says "hey, the exhaust leaks is pretty bad, can you take a look at it?" (he talks funny). ANYWAY, i take a looksy, and the darn thing is misfiring. So we woop-woop over to autozone, and it says a misfire on 1 and 5 (front two cylinders yes?). So WE replace both coil packs, and the spark plugs just in case, and still the same result. Now, it wont rev over 4k rpm with NO load on it (dont wanna drive may go KABANG). and it idles like it is cammed (but its not, ive checked). Any idea as to what else I may be able to do? And how exactly do you check injectors to see if they are working correctly? Thanks a bunch guyz i appreciate your help!

O ya, i even cleaned the MAF, YAY!

 

ya i have the same problem...replaced both of my coil packs ans sparks,,someone said it might be the egr..or whatever that lil round shaped thing around the tb is
