Default Pistons???

i have a 96 gt manual , could i put in some 10:0:1 pistons or even 11 without any other mods done if so what and how much power would it be just want to know what everyone thinks??

you could but 11:1 pistons wont run on 93 octane. ps if you want more compression swap your heads out to PI heads they have a smaller combustion area and will up your compression to 10.4 i belive it is? anyhow it will add lots of power. Plus those PI heads flow a heck of alot mroe air then the ones you have now.

agreed, use pi heads. Not only is it a much easier job but you'll really see a difference in performance. The pi heads are actually the stock ones on 99-04 GTs. The thing is when you put them on a 94-98, you actually get better performance than a stock 99-04 GT because the 94-98 pistons come up higher anyway. More compression+much better flow = more power. I would recommend looking into the bullitt intake if you're going with pi heads. It's better than the plastic stocker and gets you some nice torque gains.
