Not quite sure how they help with performance.

 

reduce engine flex and tranfer more power to the wheels, they are much stiffer than normal mounts, but if you get them you will notice that at higher speeds the car will shake a bit cuz the whole car feels the engine moving.

 

You probably do not need them.
