intake and exhuast are the best way to start off, to make more horsepower you need to get as much air as possible in and out of your engine.

Basically you want to get more air to your engine first. Then once you an abundance of air coming in, you can up your fuel system to take advantage of the extra air. Then apply
the extra power through better shifters, etc., and then use your increased power through better traction, such as drag radials. Hope this helps, it really depends on how much you want to spend.

Can you tell us what mod's if any the car already has? Also what are you planning to do with it? Drag race, daily drive, road race?
Your car makes good power stock and has alot of potential. Like the others have mentioned a good x pipe and catback will help. Gears will help a great deal with a 4 valve motor 4.10's, 4.30's or even 4.56's since you can wind your motor higher than our 2 valves. A good tune coupled with gears, drag radials and exhaust will allow you to run well into the 12's with practice.
All those mod's are available right here through MT.
