Default 2003 cobra

Hi.I just bought a 2003 cobra mustang. I am going to use the motor in a DeTomaso and are wondering on how that wil work. Are there anybody here that have some good ideas of how that wil work.I will onley install the motor and use the original DeTomaso tranny. The plan is also to use the ECU from the cobra.regards Gudmund

What year DeTomaso and model? I've seen only one swap like this but it was a 99 Cobra motor going in. Basically the idea was "the motor that DeTomaso should have used". But I am not too familiar with DeTomaso I only know a few things here and there.

What are you gonna do with the cobra if you pull the motor? I would love to snag a few parts if you arent gonna do anything with the body and such.

.My DeTomaso is a 1974mod.I know the motor is going in there ok. I am thinking of the ECU regarding all the exessories that are in a new car compered to the 74 style whit no exsesories.Electric dor loocs ,alarms, etc. Is it just to plug the ECU to the motor and fire up? I gues the cobra motor has ben installed to some older mustangs as well. It shuld be the same thing.Regards Gudmund.
