i need to know the average that shops charge to install


1.gears (3.73s)

2. springs

3.x pipe

for just installs, gears can be 100-300 depending on shop and if you have disk brakes, add a few dollars more if you want the bearings replaced while you have it a part..

Spring install is usually around $100, but dont forget you will probably need an alignment.

x-pipe is usually around 75-100, can be more depending on if it is an auto, or if there is any problems with the manifold studs.

#2 and 3 are very easy and can be done by almost anyone with simple hand tools, i would try it yourself and save the $. gears are a little harder to set, and require special tools, so if you are hesitant about the other two just take it to a shop..

springs i may be able to do xpipe im not so sure cuz i might need to fabricat some extra piping cuz my car came with flowmasters and deleted the last two cats ..not sure if i need to do it or not

but gears im sure i need to take to a shop

gears cost me $250 to have installed, i tried putting my x pipe on myself but snapped the header stud inside the threaded part and had to pay to have it removed, so if it looks rusty be very careful doing it yourself! you shouldnt have any problem with an aftermarket exhaust already being installed because theyre all designed to bolt up in place of the stock exhaust at the same point.
