Default Long tube dyno results

Okay see if you can follow all this.

2002 GT Automatic transmission
previous power mod's
C & L Plenum, Accufab 75mm TB
Steeda pullies
Steeda X with cats
Steeda catback
this was with 3.73 gears
dyno 243 rwhp 280 torque

changed gears to 4.30
dyno 237 rwhp, 269 torque
lost 6 hp and 11 ft. lbs. of torque on the dyno, went faster at the track.

replaced X pipe with cats and factory manifolds with Jet hot long tubes headers and a Hooker off road X pipe.
dyno
251 rwhp, 290 torque.
gained 14 rwhp and 21 ft. lbs. torque.

Looks impressive, how were your gains below the HP and TQ peaks. Did you gain power across the board or mostly at higher RPM's?

Dean good numbers. I say you need to tack on the hp that the dyno thinks that you lost with the 4.10's. In reality, the 4.10's really did not cost you any, just some trickery of the dyno.

Think you'll be back in the 12's? or do you need some better air?

Why don't you just spray it already and be done with it?

Blake, I think I can run a 12.9 something with my slicks and skinnies on it. I'm going to run here Tuesday night if it doesn't rain. But that is with my crappy Nitto's so I'm not holding my breath. The car is most likely making about 260 rwhp with stock gears, the 4.30's knock it down quite a bit on the dyno. I don't want to spray with the 4.30's I'd need 3.90's or 4.10's to do that or a taller tire.

Well I ran it tonite with the headers and an updated dyno tune at Modular Motorsports. Best pass was a 13.20 @ 103.04 corrected to a 12.92 @ 105.5
Car ran great just could not hook up worth a darn. I had one good pass with a 1.83 sixty foot the rest were 2.0-2.10's and I still ran 13.4's. Did I mention that I hate Nitto's? Well I do and they hate me. This equals my best corrected e.t. which was a 12.89 run at -200 feet d.a. also I did not remove the rear seat tonite so I was a little heavier than the 12.89 pass.
I think I could have made a 13.00 pass tonite if I could have hooked up.
