Default Has ANYONE INSTALLED CAMS IN A 2004 MUSTANG GT

Duration @ .050 - 226 (intake) / 230 (exhaust)
Advertised Duration - 262 (intake) / 266 (exhaust)
Valve Lift @ 1.825:1 ratio - .550 (in/ex)
Lobe seperation angle - 113 degrees (in/ex)

will this fit my stock 2004 mustang GT engine with a .550 valve lift.

Whos cams are these? Comp? Watch out for PTV.

Default will this camshaft fit in my 2004 Mustang

This is a comp cams NPI XE268H 2V Cams will this fit on a stock engine.

im pretty sure you have to buy notched pistons, or make some releif cuts in yout stock pistons. or else youll get piston to valve contact, which is no good. just get VT stage 2s

the non pi cams will be fine with no PTV contact

He has an 04! and his are PI cams! How would he benefit from non PI cams? iam askin? kind of curious too! Are these XE268H cams better?

The stock 99 and up PI cams are better than the stock 96-98 non PI cams, but when you get the comp cam stage 2 non PI cams, it has a more aggresive profile than stock PI cams, there for you gain HP. I do think you will get alittle more HP from stage 2 PI cams(more lift) but you have to becareful with the .550" in lift cause comp cams can have PTV issues.

I would say VT stage 2. But why not let someone do it for you. Its a big deal to mess with and i'm sure you know that nothing goes as smooth as wanted ever.

hell no! do it yourself, save the install $ for gears or something, i did the VT stage II's and springs on my old GT, there is an excellent step by step writeup at modulardepot!
