help new car is acting up please help
ok here it is a 96 gt automatic every time i punch it abouve 4,000 rpms when it comes down it squicks what can it be and i want to cut 2 coils off my springs is that a good idea it is a drop top

The cutting of springs idea is bad... dont be cheap and ghetto rape it buy some damn springs

If you did have to go the cheap route, 2 coils and your front will be resting on your tires. i would start half a coil and see how it looks. i would check out ebay.
If it is your belt squeak/chirping, then get a new one, around 25 bucks.
